Stewart’s first marriage to Shelia Falconer lasted 24 years and ended in divorce in 1990.  In 1997, Stewart married Wendy Neuss who was a producer on Star Trek The Next Generation. That marriage ended in divorce 3 years later in 2000.  His fans are hoping that the third time will be a charm as Stewart gets ready to walk down the aisle again.

Stewart has been romantically linked to Ozell since 2007 shortly after Stewart split from British actress Lisa Dillon. The jazz singer and the science fiction legend had their first date with her coming to watch him in his performance of Macbeth where she then contemplated whether to meet him backstage or head for the hills. Having seen every episode of Star Trek is what lured her backstage knowing that beneath that performance lay a great man. We have watched Real Housewives star Kandi Burruss struggle with her personal life over the last several seasons of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. This last year however she found her knight in shining armor on a trip with the show.

As of New Year’s 2013, Kandi Burruss is now engaged to Todd Tucker a line producer for the show on Bravo. Their relationship has not been entirely drama free however, as there were some who took issue with their on the job relationship. At one point, Todd was even willing to leave the show in order to pursue the relationship. Once those issues were resolved, the two were free to take their relationship to the next level. The two kept their engagement a secret for several weeks after the proposal due to contractual obligations with Bravo, but as soon as the new season premiered, the two were ready to share the joyous news with the world.

The couple spent the holidays at the Bahamas enjoying some much needed time away from all the drama of the show, and speculation began at that point as pictures began to surface and each one had Kandi conveniently hiding her left hand. In the end, Todd made a great choice when it came to selecting a ring for his beloved.

Earlier this year, Carter proposed to his girlfriend of more than 4 years Lauren Kitt. On February 20th, Carter traveled by boat with his fitness expert/actress girlfriend to a secluded island in the Florida Keys to pop the question. Carter had actually carried the ring around with him for more than two weeks, but he wanted the day to be perfect, so he planned the trip to an island that he had spent time on as a child. The trip meant that he had to spend the days leading up to the grand finale repairing his boat for the trip. Despite the fact that the engine stalled several times on the trip, he refused to be deterred.

He was so nervous at the proposal that he forgot that the next step was to place the ring on her finger. The ring itself was a seven carat pear shaped ring set on a thick band. The couple now refers to the island as “Engagement Island” and is reportedly already beginning preparations for the big day.

Once the two arrived back home, they contacted the first people on their “to do” list : the band. The wedding will be scheduled around the bands touring schedule so that all the important people in their life can be in attendance.

Christian Slater solidified his title as a Hollywood heartthrob in the early 90’s in cult classics like Heathers and Pump Up the Volume. He graced the big screen and quickly skyrocketed to the top of the A-list and became a shoe in for best dressed and most beautiful people lists. Things for the last several years may have calmed down, but those times are about to change.

This year Slater is back in the limelight as a groom to be. Earlier this year Slater confirmed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, that he is in fact engaged to his girlfriend Brittany Lopez. Slater first met Lopez at Florida’s Little Palm Resort. The two met when Slater went to congratulate Lopez on what he thought was a wedding proposal that he had witnessed. The spot was known to be a popular destination for romantic wedding proposals so for Slater that was not a giant leap to assume. The woman with Lopez that day however was in fact her aunt and what he witnessed was a joke between the two. Slater was so intrigued by what he had seen that the two began an in-depth conversation that soon blossomed into a three year relationship culminating in their recent engagement.

This will be the second marriage for Slater who was previously married to television producer Ryan Haddon. Haddon is the daughter of 1970’s model Dayle Haddon. The two divorced in 2007, but share two children together, Jaden Christopher and Eliana Sophia. After his divorce, Slater was linked to Jimmy Choo cofounder Tamara Mellon. No official date has yet been set for the wedding but the two are currently deep in the midst of planning and solidifying details. No news yet on the role the family will play in the upcoming nuptials.

As part of her recent adventures Spears spared some of her milestones with her some 45,000 followers. Jamie Lynn Spears, like many Hollywood starlets of her generation took to twitter to announce the news that she is now engaged to her boyfriend of 3 years Jamie Watson.

Spears tweeted a picture of her brilliant round cut diamond set on a band of smaller sparkling diamonds with the caption “He did good.” The two were seen smiling lovingly in the photo and Jamie flashing the rock. Jamie Lynn who is the younger sister of pop icon Brittany Spears had been a rising star in her own right until she took a brief break from the limelight after her announcement that at 16 she was expecting her first child.

Jamie Lynn receded into relative obscurity in a concerted effort to focus on raising her now 4 year old daughter Maddie.
