And with 25 episodes spread across three seasons, there’s plenty to get your teeth stuck into.

2) This is Us

3) Love

For a more realistic, honest look at love with all its ups and downs, try this quirky Netflix series co-created by Judd Apatow. The show follows troubled Mickey and happy-go-lucky Gus as they navigate their way around the obstacles of modern day relationships. This series doesn’t sugar-coat things, instead choosing to show the raw, the real and the oftentimes agonising, alongside the romance. And the cherry on the cake – the characters and storylines are hilarious!

4) How I Met Your Mother

This revered sitcom has a cult following of firm fans who re-watch episodes again and again, thanks to its unique concept and fun, easy-going, romantic comedy vibes. A multitude of hilarious adventures happen along the way, bringing in Ted’s eclectic group of friends and dipping in and out of the parallel love stories that each of them experience across the nine consistently comical and entertaining seasons.

5) Once Upon a Time

As the name suggests, this series is all about fairy-tale romance – but this time with a modern-day twist. This seven-season sitcom takes the age-old love story of Prince Charming and Snow White, then turns it on its head with a curse that causes the characters to forget who they are, and transports them into the present-day, to live in a sleepy town in Maine.
