From fashion trends to the entertainment industry evolving over time it’s interesting to see how jewelry has transformed as well, especially when it comes to engagement rings. And fast-forward to today, engagement rings that feature black diamonds are taking off.
When Barkev’s first launched over 40 years ago and began its journey the engagement ring world was very limited – the focus was always on the dream solitaire white diamond engagement ring as portrayed in classic movies and TV shows – while today things are much different.
It has been both educational and inspirational for us as a company to learn from customers and use the feedback to continue to think outside of the box. It’s also exciting to see how the designs we created in the early days (e.g. engagement rings with black diamond accents) are now trending 10+ years later.
In a nutshell, are black diamond engagement rings the wave of the future? We think so.
