Celeb Wedding Bands Complement Unique Engagement Rings

Reese Witherspoon’s then-fiance agent Jim Toth got down on one knee to offer the Hollywood actress a 4-carat diamond engagement ring in December 2010. A few months later, Toth placed a platinum wedding band on Reese’s ring at their star-studded wedding. Reese’s engagement ring was a head-turning Ashoka diamond stunner set on a pave diamond-and-platinum band.

Reese’s platinum wedding band compliments the engagement bauble, with the same timeless platinum setting. Platinum is the most valuable metal with a brilliant shine and a resistance to tarnishing, making it a perfect backdrop for sparkling gems.

“The Office” star John Krasinski proposed to English actress Emily Blunt with a 3-carat diamond and platinum sparkler worth $100,000 in August 2009. The Edwardian diamond drew plenty of attention, with its gleaming 3 carats. The couple tied the knot in Italy a year later. Emily’s wedding ring compliments her engagement bauble nicely, with a striking platinum band.

Backstreet Boys star A.J. McLean tied the knot with model Rochelle DeAnna Karidis recently, on Dec. 17 in a goth-themed wedding in Beverly Hills. In keeping with the hard core rock theme, the couple’s wedding bands are truly unique, featuring diamonds lined with black stones. McLean proposed on stage the Hard Rock’s Wasted Space nightclub in Vegas. He purchased the engagement ring at the Hard Rock’s jewelry store.
